Why Build A Web Business?

Before I get to ‘the plan’, I think it might be useful if I tried to help explain to you why you’d want to build a web business.

After all most people have a job and for most people that’s good enough and for some it’s extremely good in terms of how much they can earn.

The problem with a job it that it’s not scalable. What I mean by that is you sell your time to your employer and they tell you what to do.

Basically there are only so many hours in a working day and there is only so much you can charge for each of those hours.

So the only way you can increase your income is by working longer hours or charging more per hour.

Which even if it is possible still has a ceiling beyond which you just can’t go. Plus, the time you sell to your employer is time that you can’t use for yourself.

The great thing about a web business is that it is scalable. You can have as many web sites, all selling products and services, as you want.

Plus, the other great thing is that you don’t necessarily have to do all the work yourself.

People who manage and delegate tasks to others will have a head start here. But anyone can learn the basics of delegation it really isn’t rocket science.

So there you have it: job or web business? Which would you rather have?

A fixed income or one you can scale up to almost any size plus the time to enjoy your new found income.
