It All Started Just Before The New Year

Before moving on to talk about where we are today, I’d like to spend just a little time giving you a catch up on where
things have been.

This whole project started just before the New Year. The LozWilson.com site had been up on the web for quite a while before that. But to be honest I wasn’t doing very much with it, mainly due to lack of time and lack of direction!

The site had an Alexa Ranking of well over 3,000,000, so clearly it wasn’t getting much traffic. And the Page Rank was, well, zero! So in reality the site was – dormant, if not completely dead.

As with everything it’s good to have a plan so I guessed the next step had to be to look at what I could with the site.

The Credit Crunch was now biting and freelance assignments were drying up fast with 500 to 600 people all applying for the same opportunity!

So just like many other people around the world who were losing their jobs, I too was faced with the problem of making my next ‘buck’ as they say.

So what to do? Always a good question but not always obvious or easy to answer. But as I discovered, as I applied my mind to the situation a plan began to emerge.
